When you use Zoodo Marketplace, we collect information required to facilitate secure freelancing transactions:
- Account Details: Full Name, Email Address, Mobile Phone Number, Username, Password hash.
- Verification Records: Government Identity Document copies (NRC, Passport), Tax PIN, and Business Registration certificates.
- Financial Data: Mobile Money transaction phone numbers, payout account numbers, escrow transaction logs via Lipila Gateway. *(We do not store raw card CVV or PIN numbers).*
- Communication Data: In-app chat messages, proposals, project attachments, and support tickets.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is processed strictly for the following legitimate purposes:
- Connecting clients with verified freelancers and matching project skill requirements.
- Processing Mobile Money deposits, escrow releases, and automated withdrawal payouts.
- Preventing fraudulent project listings, spam, off-platform payment circumvention, and account compromise.
- Sending critical account status notifications, contract updates, and project alerts.
3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties. We share data only with essential processing partners:
- Payment Processors: Lipila Gateway for Mobile Money (MTN, Airtel, Zamtel) and card clearing.
- Identity Verification Partners: Automated KYC verification to confirm national identity records.
- Legal Authorities: When required by Zambian law or valid court order to prevent financial crime.

You have the right to request access to your personal data, request corrections to profile records, or request account closure and data deletion in accordance with data protection regulations.
